Journey to Machu Picchu

Located in the highlands of the Andes, Machu Picchu is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Often called the "Lost City of the Incas," it stands as the most iconic symbol of Inca civilization. Every Wednesday, we offer an optional excursion to visit this awe-inspiring site. Guests depart from our center in the morning, enjoy a scenic train ride to Aguas Calientes, and embark on a guided tour to explore the rich history and beauty of Machu Picchu.

Maras Salt Mines

Nestled in the Peruvian Andes only a 40 minute hike away, Maras Salt Mines feature thousands of terraced salt pools where salt has been harvested since pre-Inca times. Cascading down the mountainside, the pools form a mesmerizing mosaic of white against the green landscape. Local families continue this ancient tradition, extracting salt by hand and maintaining the pools, creating a unique and picturesque scene that offers a glimpse into Peru's rich cultural heritage and stunning natural beauty.
